A bridge is a restoration made by the lab to replace missing teeth in the arch. The materials used for bridgework are similar to those used to construct crowns. Bridging utilises the teeth adjacent to the space to bond to and they are fixed in the mouth by cement. Bridging is only possible if you have strong teeth with no gum disease either side of the space.
